One way to make a difference in the world is to use whatever resources we personally have available to help someone in need or improve something that has been forgotten or tarnished. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints commemorates each Christmas season by sponsoring a global effort to do just that. Everyone, everywhere, is invited to “Light the World” through acts of kindness and love. The initiative begins today, December 1, and concludes on Christmas day. I invite you to participate in this effort and do whatever you can to make a difference. The need is certainly there.
