We left Palmyra this morning and are now in the small town of Gabriels, NY, about 30 minutes away from Lake Placid. We’re in the heart of the Adirondacks, and it’s great to see mountains again! Tomorrow we’re visiting the John Brown State Historic Site and then going on a long hike in the woods. Here’s a picture off the back porch of the Airbnb we’re staying at.
