We spent today packing our car and cleaning the house in preparation for leaving tomorrow afternoon on the first leg of our journey to New York. It’s hard to believe this day has finally arrived! It’s been a busy six months since first submitting our missionary application, and like everything else in life, time has flown by. Our first stop tomorrow will be Cheyenne, Wyoming. We’ll spend the night there and then leave the following day for Lee’s Summit, Missouri where we'll visit with one of Steve's sisters and her husband. From there, we’ll drive to Chicago and meet up with Steve's twin sister and her family, and then take off the next day for Kirtland, Ohio. That will be our last stop before arriving at our missionary assignment in Palmyra, New York. If all goes as planned, we’ll arrive in Palmyra on Thursday afternoon and then begin acclimating to our "home away from home" for the next 18 months. Excitement is running high in our household right now. On to Cheyenne!
